Why the funding matters
This trial was funded by a party with a commercial interest in the result. Industry-funded trials in photobiomodulation are common and are not automatically unreliable, but a manufacturer-funded positive result is weaker evidence than an equivalent independent one, and should never be presented as independent confirmation.
