These terms apply to your use of irradiancelab.com (the “site”), operated by IrradianceLab (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Not medical advice
Everything on the site is general information for educational purposes. It is not medical, dermatological or professional advice and is not a substitute for it. Do not rely on it to diagnose or treat any condition. Talk to a qualified professional before starting, changing or stopping any treatment, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for any device you use.
Accuracy of information
We try to keep the site accurate and current, but measurements, specifications, prices, regulatory status and research findings can change or contain errors. We make no representation that any information is complete, accurate or up to date, and we may change or remove content at any time without notice. Material corrections are logged on the corrections page.
Third-party products and links
Mentioning a product, brand or retailer is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for third-party products, websites or claims. Any purchase you make is between you and the seller. See our disclosure for how the site is funded.
Reviews and other content you submit
By submitting a review, photo or other content, you confirm that:
- it reflects your own honest experience, and you are not paid by or connected to the brand without saying so;
- you own it or have the right to share it, including consent from anyone identifiable in a photo;
- it is not unlawful, defamatory, abusive, misleading or infringing, and contains no one else’s personal or health information;
- it contains no advertising, spam or malicious code.
You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt (for example to resize or shorten) and publish it in connection with the site. We are not obliged to publish anything and may moderate, edit or remove content at our discretion. Reviews are the opinions of their authors, not ours.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, including by interfering with its operation, attempting unauthorised access, overloading it, or collecting data from it by automated means in a way that harms it or breaches applicable law.
Intellectual property
Except for content submitted by users and material owned by third parties, the site’s text, design and graphics belong to us or our licensors. The device dataset is offered under the licence stated where it is published. Otherwise, you may view and share the site for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution.

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site, its content or any product discussed on it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Changes and general
We may update these terms at any time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
